PL Flowers Festival 2018

Berriew, Welshpool, Powys.  SY21 8QJ

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers

Members at Pentre Llifior Chapel are looking forward to welcoming visitors to their annual Flower Festival on 11th and 12th August.   The event, which will be open from 10am until 4pm on Saturday and 10am until 1pm on Sunday, has a music based theme this year.

“In this tranquil, rural, historical Wesleyan chapel we will be using flowers to illustrate some of our favourite hymns and worship songs” said Helen Judge, joint co-ordinator of the festival.  “Please come and take a look around then enjoy a bacon butty - available Saturday 10-12noon - or homemade cake and a cuppa which will be available throughout our opening times. This is a free event - there will be no charge for anything but any donations made will go to the WaterAid charity.”

The Chapel and Preachers Stable, nestling on the side of the road between Berriew and Bettws Cedewain, offers a refreshment area, small car park, toilet and baby changing facilities and also has suitable access for disabled visitors.

A Celebration Praise Service will be held on the Sunday afternoon 2.30 – 3.30pm at the close of the festival and all are very welcome to join us for this.
